A heavy-duty pickup truck caters to a wide range of needs, but if you feel like adding upgrades, we recommend customizing rather than buying “off the rack.” The new RAM 2500 offers multiples of everything from engines (either gas with best-in-class horsepower or high-torque diesel) to trims, option packages, cab and box configurations, and drivetrains, so you’d might as well have some fun with it.
The new-generation RAM 2500 offers higher strength and a lighter weight. This year’s model sees new color choices added as well, but road warriors will find one of the best additions to be the 50-gallon fuel tank available with select configurations. Bear in mind that you can also equip this truck to tow up to 19,780 pounds of towing, so you can take your favorite boat, ATV, or trailer with you on your next adventure.
2020 RAM 2500 Safety and Special Features
Even more upgrades are seen with the safety technology in the 2020 RAM 2500. Blind spot monitoring is a new option, and it now covers trailer blind spots, too. Safer trailering is also possible through the new auxiliary camera system and trailer tire pressure monitoring.
