Want to Make a Hellcat Purr? Stick it Inside a Jeep Wrangler

Want to hear something beautiful? Take a 6.2-liter 707-horsepower supercharged “Hellcat” V8 engine, and put it inside the redesigned body of the Jeep Wrangler. That’s exactly what designers at Jeep did for the annual Easter Jeep Safari in Moab, Utah. In addition to six other creative 4x4s, Jeep has blessed us with the Jeep Trailcat: so screaming-mean it makes us choke up a little bit, but those totally aren’t tears, there’s just something huge, green, and beautiful stuck in our eye. Take a look and a listen.

At Acadiana Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram, we’re all incredibly impressed by the designers at Jeep for bringing forth the Trailcat concept. Not only did they give it one of the baddest engines out there, they widened the wheel base of the body by 12 inches and lowered the height of the windshield by two, giving the Jeep Trailcat a distinguished, regal look. It’s the bright green paint that really warns you about the power inside.

If you’re stoked about the Jeep Trailcat or any of the other great concept designs Jeep’s engineers have put out for the Easter Jeep Safari, just know you’re not alone. Come join us here in our Lafayette showroom to check out our large selection of Jeep models, and while you’re here, see about setting up a test drive to get better acquainted with your next new Jeep.
